Visit of NMEP and SC Johnson to NAVRC

The  National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP) in collaboration with SC Johnson recently paid a visit to National Arbovirus and Vectors Research Centre (NAVRC).  The team  led by the National Coordinator (NC) NMEP, Dr. Godwin Ntadom, was at the Centre to  carry out first-hand assessment of  the Centre’s Insectary with a view to upgrading the facility. This is part of efforts to strengthen malaria vector research and in effect, the fight against malaria.

The National Coordinator (NC), NAVRC, Dr. Emeka Asadu, welcomed the team and promised management’s commitment to the success of the project. There were deliberations on efforts made so far in the fight against malaria in Nigeria, and the need for more collaborative efforts to achieve the desired results.
